These terms are an agreement between you and INYO SYSTEMS LLC ("we") for your use of Extrastep.
The service
Extrastep is a CAD agent. You describe changes in chat, reference geometry, and attach STEP files; an AI model edits your design's source code, which Extrastep builds, checks and shows you. We may change or improve the service over time.
Your account
You need an account and a working email address to use Extrastep. Keep access to your email secure: anyone who can read it can sign in. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
Plans and usage
- Every plan includes a monthly amount of AI model use, which your account shows as a percentage. Unused usage doesn't carry over.
- Free has lower priority than paid plans, and how much usage it includes may vary.
- A turn counts for the model requests it made when it ends, whether it finishes, fails or is stopped.
- A turn can start only while your plan has usage left for the month. A turn that runs past it finishes, and what it uses past 100% isn't carried over.
- Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Stripe sells them through Link as the merchant of record: it takes the payment and charges any sales tax or VAT.
- An upgrade starts at once, and what's left of your current month comes off its first payment. A lower plan, Free or a cancellation takes effect when your plan renews.
- We may change how much usage a paid plan includes when the AI model's prices change. A change applies from a renewal, never to a month you've already paid for. We tell you by email at least 30 days before, and you can cancel before it applies.
Withdrawal and refunds
You can withdraw from a paid plan within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. Use Withdraw from contract here on your account page, or email us. When you buy a plan, you ask us to start it at once. If you withdraw, we refund the part of your payment that matches the share of that month's usage you haven't used, within 14 days, and you're back on Free.
Otherwise purchases are final, except that we refund a charge made in error if you email support@extrastep.ai within 14 days of it. Email us before disputing a charge with your bank.

Your content
You keep all rights to what you upload and create: your STEP files, messages and designs. You give us the permission we need to host, process and display it, and to send it to our providers, only to run the service for you.
Only upload files you have the right to use. Some manufacturer models come with their own license terms.
Your responsibility for what you build
Extrastep checks that its results match what you asked for: dimensions, positions, clearances and interference. Those checks don't establish strength, thread engagement, assembly paths, manufacturability, safety or compliance with any standard. Review every design, and test it where it matters, before you manufacture or rely on it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Extrastep to break the law or infringe anyone's rights. Don't try to reach other accounts' data, get around the build sandbox, overload the service, or resell it without our agreement.
Ending your use
You can stop using Extrastep at any time and delete your projects. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.
Warranties and liability
We provide Extrastep as it is and can't promise it will be free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we update the date above, and we tell you by email before a significant change takes effect.
