Getting started

Each message you send starts a turn: the agent edits your design's source, rebuilds it, measures the result against your request and reviews views of it. Your design changes only when those checks pass.

Projects

A project is one design with its history and any number of chats. Start one empty, or with the STEP or IGES files of the parts it must fit. Example opens a small mounting plate to try changes on.

Asking for a change

Give dimensions in millimeters, and point at the geometry you mean:

• Click a face, or near an edge.
• Double-click a part for the whole part.
• Option-click (Alt-click on Windows and Linux) for an exact point on a surface.

Each pick becomes a bubble at your cursor, so you can write move this hole 5 mm toward this edge. Hover a bubble to see its geometry. If that geometry changes before you send, the bubble is marked: pick it again.

Your view is saved with each message, so this without a bubble means what you were looking at.

While a turn runs

• Orbit, section and hide parts as you like. Picking geometry waits for the result.
• Text you send in the agent's chat reaches it after its current step, to add details. A message with bubbles or files, and the other chats, wait for the turn to end: a project runs one turn at a time.
• Stop, from any chat, ends the turn and keeps your design as it was. STEP and IGES files attached to its message stay imported.

The view

The view is orthographic, so sizes don't change with distance. The section plane cuts what you see, not the design.
